History: Born in the south to a Painter, Vola learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Vola was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Vola's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has never given up on her writing dream.
