She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Ekemon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Elysande alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Bune was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Mayor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
