Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His fur is beige, silky, and of moderate length. His yellow eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.
Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To be a Sailor again; and to end his boredom

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a fancy brown suit. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a herbalist again

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Gimgen was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and further expansion of business

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tyna does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Tyna was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lorilla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She became a Carpenter soon after.
