History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Emmeline lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mamnen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mamnen. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
