Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, yellow shirt, and green tie. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her green eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Mardnab was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is baby faced.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Trym never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Cask was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This tall, slender woman is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Weaver. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.
History: Born in the east to a Weaver, Irann learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Weaver and was forced into it by her family; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a trident on his belt. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Chay's homeland. Chay decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chay fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
