Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Zed does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Fivin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Gardener like his father before him.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Vonbin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ronwe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
