History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Adrie was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Halander alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bounty Hunter for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of drow

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Actor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: She was born in the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Caramip grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Caramip. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Harann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
