History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shipwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Ekk speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
