History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Creega was taken on many hunting expeditions. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. One day when Elama was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Elama was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
