He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Kellen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kellen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
