History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hillanot was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Rael learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
