History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Dean liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Thiala alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thiala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Kathra was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
