To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rimple. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit men.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Spear grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Tanner; and wants a kiss

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Dadalan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Dadalan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Mortician and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for him, and Berrian does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Right-Handed was born with his father's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his religion dominates his actions
