History: Drifting lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
