Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Sora's homeland. Sora decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Emmeline was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Emmeline was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fortune-teller. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
