History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Arannis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
