History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now owns her own business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Brakka grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Brakka fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
