Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nikki embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Nikki was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Vepar was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Therlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
