His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Sora lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Being a Bricklayer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
