Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Seraphina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Ralf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ralf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Yvonne grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Yvonne. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She invites people to come help in her community garden.
History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Katherine was taken on many hunting expeditions. Katherine was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Katherine decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Vani reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
