He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She tends to her Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mishann never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Guy isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. The war was a terrible time for him, and Guy does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Guy was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Guy's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
