History: Born to a Weaver, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mastema grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mastema. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Shifting was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Solomon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Solomon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
