History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

After coming to the age of reason, Malquis took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kerkad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kerkad. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
