Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Vapula never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
