Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.

History: Dara was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Animal Trainer.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and many gnolls want her driven away
