History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Emma reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Sailor, but he was a colossal failure. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
