She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She became a Detective soon after.

History: Ortegar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her blonde hair is wavy and long. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson tan hat.

Personality: Ilanis is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ilanis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ilanis. Being a Carpenter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Shaena and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Iados was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
