History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has achieved small success as a Cook.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
