History: Kadana hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Merla was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Helgret enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She wears silk and lounges about seductively. She carries a battered scythe and tarnished whip as well. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He likes to wear tan tank tops with blue pants. He has no hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Wiggens is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Performer father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
