History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
