Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Arannis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valanthe grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. A true patriot, Diggory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small violet hat.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Nutae was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
