Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Animal Trainer and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Jade was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
