A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Servant. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Kali never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
