History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Kite learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She became a Navigator soon after.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Marigold never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Kûga was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young.
