Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She is a Scribe first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ellywick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
History: Efferil was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Efferil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and further expansion of business

Description: An older woman who wears dark leathers with embroidery, she is not a threatening figure. She keeps her white fur in a flapper bob. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Shadow enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Shadow was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shadow took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She bought a halberd and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
