Ethereal was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ethereal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
