Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His dark red hair is braided into rings. His gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Oriax and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Description: She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Phelaia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Phelaia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gennal will drive conversation. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is greedy

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Mortician and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.
