Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shax. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Fargrim was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She got into the Stylist business at a young age. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Adventurer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
