His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ulfgar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Adventurer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
