Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears baggy black pantaloons and a grey scarf. His long dark red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are a pleasant silver.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Qemuel would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Qemuel has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Gennal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears his blonde hair up. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Dean reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She became a Guard soon after.

Description: She wears a white shirt with thin violet vertical stripes and blue pants. She carries with her a set of kukris, each one with a amber on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a Marshal soon after.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Chay was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
