History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing. His golden hair is heavily combed to the right. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to clean up the streets

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are black and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Lerissa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker father left her crippled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Baker and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carpenter business.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. After coming to the age of reason, Korinn took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gynnie embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world
