History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Art alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Fargas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Fargas was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and doesn't want to be a carter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Yvonne grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Yvonne. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is unsatisfied with her job
