She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Sumnes abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Adventurer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
