Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Oren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She got into the Scribe business at a young age. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She is typically in her Scribe uniform. Her hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
