History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thodris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thodris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
