Engong's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Shava was born the youngest of three triplets. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Akmen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Kadana hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Engraver, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Avice's homeland. Avice decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and balancing her hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult
