History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Giselle grew up listening to her father's many stories. Giselle was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Guard. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a violet coat. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her red hair, when down, is lengthy. She has brown eyes and a violet hat with a black feather.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the south. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: He sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his kukri, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. Her blue hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are likewise gold. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a grey costume with the symbols of strength on her torso. Her brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Griselda was born the youngest of three triplets. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: He was born into a rich family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Volen lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Volen was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Volen decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
