History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Alston was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He became a Knight soon after.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Tordek was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor. He carries with him a set of clubs on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Flogg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: The child of a Fletcher, who enjoyed hunting, Umpen was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Umpen took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
