Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Detective who has hired him part-time. He takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Shipwright, but she got bored and became a Banker. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.
