History: Born in the west to a Mason, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Healer who has hired her part-time. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Virra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Virra was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Virra's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
